Tune-Ups: Posted Apr 5th: Don't forget to book your spring tune-up
so that your unit is all ready when you arrive. Tune up includes hooking
up water and sewer, clean hot water heater, checking propane appliances
and gas leak test. Tune-Ups begin the week of May 7th, call the office
or email us at
hillside@hillsidelakepark.com to book yours today.
Water in Seasonal Section: Posted Mar 18th: Water is expected to be turned on
in the seasonal section during the week of May 7th. We will keep you
posted !

- Ice Conditions Posted March 2nd, 2012:
Skating isofficially done for this season! The lake
and pond are unsafe. Parents please keep kids off the ice.Bring on Spring ! Posted February 27th, 2012:
Our beautiful ice is no more. Happily we did see some great packing snow
this weekend ! Posted February 5th, 2012: Grass is growing at Hillside ! Sure enough the sunnier areas of the
park are turning green. It was great skating weather this weekend, the
ice was like glass. With the unseasonably warmer temperatures we just
want to caution customers to check the ice carefully on the lake or pond
before you and your family venture on to it. If you call ahead or email
hillside@hillsidelakepark.com for current conditions, please
again check for yourself before you step on the ice.

As of today we have "50 LIKES", we are so glad that you're
following along with us. If you have been up to your trailer this winter
and taken some pictures that you'd like to share, please post, we'd love
to see them ! Our new goal is 100 Likes ! Posted January 13th, 2012: After attending a
conference in November and being introduced to Facebook we dabbled and
started a site in late November. We didn't really launch anything at
that point. Some of you found us and "Liked" us already, Thanks for
that! As of today we are now "officially" launching our facebook page.
Currently we have a grand total of "29 Likes" so we'll see how big we
can get that number before the start of the season. See you on Facebook
! We will continue to keep the website updated so if you don't
facebook don't worry you can still get all your information here.

If you are a current Hillside customer and would like to receive your
Newsletters from Hillside via email please email us at
hillside@hillsidelakepark.com. We are currently compiling our list
for this Springs newsletter! If you have received the newsletter
previously via email, you are automatically on this list already! Thanks
for helping us go green.
Posted July 25th 2011: The Fall Newsletter is in the
works, anyone who received or has since subscribed to the spring
newsletter via email will automatically receive the fall one via email
as well. Thanks for helping us go green! For customers who don't surf
the web or prefer to have a paper copy, newsletters will be ready for
pick up in May at the office.
Road Condition Update Posted February 7th 2012:
All roads are passable due to
LACK of snow. Posted April 5th 2011:Road Conditions remain the same as previous post on March 28th. Posted March 28th 2011:As of March 18th ALL roads in the seasonal area are closed to
vehicles. This means that all 6 month seasonal customers may still come
and visit their trailer, however all vehicles must park in the front
parking lot and all customers walk to their trailers. ALL SEASONAL
GATE CARDS ARE TEMPORARILY TURNED OFF.
Water In Seasonal Section Posted Oct 1st 2011: Water will be
turned off to the seasonal section in the week of Oct 17th.
Posted April 18th 2011: Water is expected to be turned on
in the seasonal section during the first week of May.
Fireban
at Hillside
July 28th 2011: Fire Ban has been upgraded to a partial
ban. The Fire Chief is permitting recreational burning ONLY and these
fires MUST be restricted to a burning pit,
outdoor fireplace or chimineas. July 20th 2011:
Effective immediately Hillside (along with the whole township of North
Dumfries) is under a fire ban restriction. This means NO FIRES of
anykind; camping, cooking etc.
