IS HILLSIDE FOR YOU?

There’s alot of different types of units in our industry and we know it can get confusing, so here’s our definition for our park and what we allow:

Trailer: a trailer is something that you can tow behind your vehicle. It can range from a pop up tent trailer to a 40′ long travel trailer with 2 or 3 slides, it even includes motorhomes. Even though dealers may sell you on the fact that your trailer has a “winter” package,  in our park, that doesn’t qualify the unit as something you can live in year round. 

Park Model Trailer: while still in the trailer family, park models have shingled roofs, 2×4 construction and generally need an escort to come down the highway. They are not something the average person can tow with their own vehicle. Park Models may go onto seasonal sites, and in that case are subject to the seasonal dates of May 1st to Thanksgiving. All of our 8/10 month sites are specified designated sites that offer water and septic service during colder times and are all filled with units. To qualify for an 8/10 month extended season site, you need to purchase the unit sitting on the designated site if/when one comes for sale. Please note that credit checks and references are required. It is also important to note that you cannot bring your own unit (even if it is a Northlander) into one of our extended season sites.
